here comes 2006!

I am thinking about

New Year’s Resolutions

and whew!

I have quite a few

and some include you!

1. For most of 2005

I’ve been working on a lullaby CD

called SNOOZE MUSIC .

12 dulcimer cradle tunes

for babies and moms

grandmas and grandpas

brother and sisters

aunts and uncles

and every body in between

Musical comfort on

dulcimer, cello, guitar,

viola, violin, trombone and tuba…

So my first resolution is to have

SNOOZE MUSIC ready

for your sleepy ears

by springtime.

2. My second resolution is to finish

the ELECTRIC SNOWSHOE songbook

with all the tunes written out for voice,

guitar and piano …and dulcimer!

3. For the past 25 years

I have been keeping a diary

of my travels and experiences

at schools around the world -

maybe your school is one of them!

This is turning into a book called

SONGS FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE.

My third resolution is to complete that!

As you can see I will be quite busy

writing and resolving my resolutions

so I won’t be touring as much in 2006

so our paths may not cross.

But I will be thinking of you and hoping

you are healthy and happy.

but here’s a few highlights:

On January 14 I will be at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo

for the Open Windows Open Minds concert

with wonderful singer Andrea L’Heureux

and amazing cellist Rachel Capon

for a few songs including a sneak preview

of SNOOZE MUSIC.

will do a  concert in Toronto at the

Royal Conservatory of Music

featuring songs from THE 5 ELEMENTS

and from SNOOZE MUSIC.

On Feb 17 I'll play at the

Circle of Friends conference in Qualicum

and at the Four Seasons Montessori in Nanaimo.

Throughout the spring I'll play

some school shows and festivals in BC

then tour with Pied Pumkin in the summer.

I'll be at  the World Congress on Down System

in Vancouver August 22-26 www.wdsc2006.com
